Extended Ability
Being a vampire holds the usual perks. Enhanced hearing, scaling buildings at great level with a single bound. Night vision and incredible strength. While she can process food and drink almost like a human, it doesn't provide as much nourishment as blood. Alcohol will get her drunk, but she sobers up faster than a normal person.
Sunlight affects as a slow burn. Turning her skin to a blistering red before she bursts in flames and is reduced to ash. Holy water is akin to pouring direct acid on flesh. Water that hasn't been blessed has no effect. Still or otherwise. Garlic cloves won't affect her if she ingests it, but it does have an overbearing smell that she'd rather avoid. Mirrors have no effect. According to myth vampires have no reflection because they have no soul. Tessa still questions hers, but her reflection has remained since her turning.

Shortly after compleating a third round in the Shadows' Guild, Tessa decided to experiment with her newfound ability. Pushing what she thought were the limits of Shadows. Shadows were meant to conceal you if you stayed in one place for too long. With extra force, Tessa discovered she could move shadows as if they were made of thin cloth or smoke. Something she could physically grab on to and yet would stick to her fingers like a webb. While she can manipulate shadows of others, she can't control said person. Just their shadows alone. She can tug at them, make them change shape. Even hide someone in darkness just by thickening surrounding shadows. When her skill isn't in use, she can move through shadows like normal.
Depending on the severity of her hunger, Tessa's eyes will glow red. It'll start as a dull, soft glow, and increase with intensity the longer that hunger is prolonged. On occasion they'll flash with her mood, but this is the best indication for when it's 'dinner time'.
